Tesco internet saver rate dropped from 3.25% to 3% from 16 April
Tesco savings have reduced the interest rate from today (16/4/09) on their internet saver from 3.25% AER (1.75% + 1.5%) to 3% AER (1.5% + 1.5%). Egg money withdraws their 4%
With plummeting interest rates the Egg Money card's 4% has looked increasingly attractive as a place to save. But not for much longer. Today they've emailed customers that the rate drops to 0.5% on 24 April and to zero on 15 May. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, and at least they warned cardholders in advance.
