Do bond fund prices reflect bond values?
If you bought gilts or corporate bonds the cost of buying the bond would vary to reflect the spread (risk) over base rates and therefore the lower the price the better the yield assuming the same coupon. Interest payments - choosing the date
Does anybody know of a savings account where you can choose your interest payment date? I will be a 40% tax payer in the next tax year but plan to take a year off in the 09/10 tax year so would prefer my interest to be paid then. I saw that Bradford & Bingley had such an account but this was only for non UK residents.
