Debt-free. A saver and proud of it
I have just been reading about bankruptcies and I`ve gone a bit huffy. It`s about time us savers shout out as well. There seems to be several routes on the road to great debt and all of us have a lot of sympathy if debt has arisen out of mis-fortune, however the ones we usually see on the tv have got into huge debt because…

I'm a big divvy...
and I know it full well. But I can't work out what Fidelity do. Are they an investment fund manager that offers access to a separate funds supermarket? Or are they a discount broker? Are their funds automatically discounted or does it depend what broker you go through? Yes, I'm a div and must do more reading!

Tracker fund charges
Just seen this article from the Telegraph site which nicely illustrates the effect of charges (and a few other differences between trackers). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=M3&xml=/money/2006/10/31/cmvirgin31.xml It purports to be about Virgin but is more general. As bad as it says Virgin is…

At the moment, I really can't afford to put money away to save (as I'm trying to reduce my debts), but I'd like to put between £10 - £20 a month away for a rainy day. Anyone know a good account with high interest that I can just leave in. I do have an ISA at 4.75%with smile, so don't know if should just stay with ISA or go…

A&L Direct Saver - Pure Hassle!!
This seemed like a good idea when i first saw it advertised, but setting it up has been nothing but hassle. Need Advice
Ok, this is about shares. Would investing in shares which cost 240p be a good investment if I only buy 17 shares? Or is this to little. The expectations and my 2 month research suggest the company will do well. How much do you think I should spend?
