VCT - which ones
Anyone got any good views on VCTs or knows of any good websites with information? I bought Keydata Income last year and I'm a little dissappointed in the fact that they seem to have invested most of their cash in one wind farm in Scotland. I know that VCTs are supposed to be high risk but it seems a little excessive. Also…

What counts as income for a child against their allowance?
I know they have a single persons allowance like we all do - but - what counts towards the income part? If I put £15k into their building society account - does that mean their income is £15k and will get taxed on the bit above their allowance - or is it the interest generated on the £15k is the income?

What to do with £95K, short term?
Can anybody offer some advice? My BF has sold his property and is currently looking for a new one but in the meantime needs to put the equity somewhere, approx £95K. This could be only for up to 3 months, or longer depending on how the house-hunting goes. It would need to be instant access and I notice some of the higher…

Carrying Capital losses forward
Unfortunately I lost some money on shares and would like to sell them and crystalise the loss. Hopefully at some time in the future I will make enough gains to use up the loss. Post Office GEB
I am thinking of opening a Post Office GEB (Guaranteed Equity Bond) based on Martin's information (dated 12 October 2005) which says "You're paid 125% of the growth of the index .......etc" However, on going to the PO site it now seems that you either get 75% on a 3yr investment bond, or 110% on a 5 yr investment bond.…
