Buying land in Romani

Hi,

Is it worth investing in Romanian land on the beach front? Since Romani (I think) is due to enter the EU would the value of the land not shoot in value when this occurs. More and more people are getting attracted to Romania and I was thinking it could be a nice little nest to set up for a decade down the line or something? Does anyone agree with me on this?

If so does anyone know of how/where the land can be purchased from?

I don't know how you'd go about it, but Romania is a beautiful beautiful country. Look at somewhere like Mamaia (the biggest sea resort on a narrow strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiul) north-east of Constanta as one of the prime holiday spots; alternatively look at less-developed Black Sea towns like Eforie or Costinesti. Personally I'd head for the mountains in Transylvania as they really caught my imagination when I was there 20 years ago, but that's just me!
