redundancy and pension
Can anyone tell me if having a small pension affects the redundancy payment you are entitled to? I was expecting to get 6 weeks pay - about £720 but have received a letter today saying I will only get £15.54 ie 6 weeks at £2.59! I'm really hoping this is a mistake but wondered if it is because of my pension.

Can you claim state benefits if you take voluntary redundancy
Anyone have a link for this or know the answer? The redundancy payment would only be a couple of thousand pound so not enough to lift somebody over the threshold for claiming state benefits.
