Hi, I took out a personal loan with HSBC in the early 1990s. I'm pretty sure I had ppi on it, but how would I check with it being so long ago. I still have the same bank account with them that I had at the time so not sure if that would help or not. Thanks :)

Hi Has anyone tried to claim PPI from Northern Rock? I took out a loan with them before they went under, I'd paid it off about a year before it happened. Legit or not?
Got a call today from Citizen Financial Advisory Services. They asked who I had had loans from, mortgages etc, just the usual. All sounded OK until they asked for £495 as a fee, as they pay me the complete claim (if there is any available) then I pay them back what they are due. The £495 is because some people haven't paid…

In December 2005 my wife and I invested in an Investment Bond with Scottish Equitable through an independent advisor.
