I had a loan that I never payed off due to financial issues at the time and it went on for over 6 years and its now been removed from my credit file, Can I still claim the PPI off this loan even though it was never paid off? I cant find an answer in the FAQ on this site. Any help appreciated Thanks

No account number
We have made a claim against Lloyds on s previous mortgage. They will not process because we can't provide an account number and they can't find it in their records. Can I take this to the ombudsmen?
PPI claim. Over 10 years old
Hi. Contacted my bank who said I would have qualified for being mis-sold PPI but because it was over 10 years ago I was not eligible to claim. Is this correct or should I pursue it. Many thanks
