Hi Ive just checked through my bank statement and noticed my bank (NatWest) have been Charging me a Refferal Fee this was first applied to my account in Jan 07 and so far they have robbed me for £150 when i phoned i got the usual you will have to contact the lending dept but they are now closed does anyone have any clue…

Has anyone been sucessful claiming from abroad?
Hi I am currently residing abroad, but have an active UK bank account and want to reclaim the charges. I would like to open a parachute account, but this is not so easy when I am not resident in UK at this time. Any suggestions? Thanks.

my mother in law has a preference account with the bank of scotland, and today i looked over all her statements (which she had in the loft) she has several late fee's and 2 letter charges can we claim for these and has anyone had any luck with this?

bank charges no reply
i wonder if any body can help. i have sent first and second letter to natwest the last stating i would take to court. this is now two weeks ago and i still have abosolutley no letter returned from the bank. is this usual.

halifax stalling!
wonder if anyone can help? went through the whole reclaim process, eventually got letter offering some, but not all of charges. halifax said they would pay this within 14 days. three weeks later and nothing! made various phone calls, but the best they can come up with is that they are very busy. anyone know what i can do?…

Reclaiming from overdrawn account
New user here, just had to tell you of my success. RBS have offered me EXACTLY the amount I was claiming - £2300 - despite by account being £1500 overdrawn (and having been so for years). This resulted from just ONE letter (the first on on this website). So DO NOT let an overdraft put you off reclaiming!!

I have received only 12 months worth of statements when I requested 6 years from Abbey - what do I do now? Is this just a delaying tactic?
