I wrote to Abbey on the 28th Feb requesting a list of charges on two accounts (One of which was closed 2 years ago). Yesterday I received 12 individual envelopes in the post, each containing one months worth of statements for the past 12 months, not the 6 years as requested. Reclaiming Barclays agreed overdraft limit charges
How much interest can be charged on an agreed overdraft? Is there a limit? I have an agreed overdraft of £3000 and due to being almost £2000 overdrawn for several months I was charged £20 in interest for each of those months by my bank. How can I work out how much interest I should be paying?
