TalkTalk contract length
Hi there, I am currently with Talk Talk for my landline and can't find anything on the Talk Talk website telling me how long my contract is for or how long I've had it (for the life of me I cannot remember when I signed up). I'm really hoping it's only a 12 month contract. Anybody know? Thanks A

Heinz, I'm confused :)
Hi Have just signed up to 18185 when I discovered your threads and have had a look at your various steps to cheap calls. What I don't want is various DD's coming out of my ears. I'm not 100% sure of what advantage I would receive by signing up to Primus as my CPS? Looking at your programming for the V4, it's only used for…

Which international company has the best line?
My husband is abroad and I can only contact him on a mobile. I have tried 1899, 0844 calls, and 05pence (who, funnily, charge 8p!) and the line isvery bad. The only time I can hear him clearly is by dialling directly though BT, which is very expensive. I could pay BT extra each month to get a discounted rate but it is…

Virgin Media
I had been with BT for over 30 years, and have recently changed to Virgin as their rate was much cheaper. Since I changed, my multi-handset phone keeps bleeping, sometime in the middle of the night. Also, sometimes the signal upstairs is weak (the base unit is downstairs). I never had any of these problems with BT. Could…

NHS Hospitals making money from phone calls.
"A HEALTH trust has raked in more than £80,000 in the past two years from charges for incoming phone calls to the district's hospitals. Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust replaced local dialling codes with a revenue-sharing scheme using 0844 numbers in May 2006. The change meant the trust received a proportion of the charges –…

BT - 12 month contract aftre connection
Hi I've recently had a line connected in my new build house and understood that this meant I had to pay line rental / call plan with BT for 12 months. Someone I know said that there is no 'contract' with BT to do this and I could just cancel my Direct Debit and take a call package with, say, Tiscali. If I get a package…

Does anyone use Mobivox?
I've looked in Search but can't find any recent threads about Mobivox. Does anyone use them? I was with Jajah until they changed their policies and wanted people to top up their accounts every six weeks regardless of how much you had in your account. I then found Mobivox and signed up with them, but I'm confused. On the…
