Does anyone use Mobivox?

I've looked in Search but can't find any recent threads about Mobivox. Does anyone use them? I was with Jajah until they changed their policies and wanted people to top up their accounts every six weeks regardless of how much you had in your account.

I then found Mobivox and signed up with them, but I'm confused.

On the Mobivox homepage, it states:

Call other active MOBIVOX members in over 40 countries for FREE!

But I've since read some people's posts on the Mobivox forum and it says that there are no longer free calls! Does anyone know if they are talking about international calls or UK to UK also?

I live in the UK and want to phone my Dad who also lives in the UK (we are both registered with Mobivox).

Will these calls be free for 125 minutes a week or will we have to pay?

Any advice from a fellow Mobivox user would be great.

I've left a message on their forum but so far no-on'es got back to me yet.

I use Mobivox for international calls when I´m not at home and can´t use my computer and Jajah. I live in Spain and call mostly my Mum in the UK. These calls used to be free because we were both members (apart from the very low cost of the access number charged by the mobile phone company).

Mobivox has now changed its policy so no more free calls - instead they have some reward scheme which I have yet to see how it works but they have credited my account with 120 free mins recently......

Low down - they are still cheap and it´s a pretty good service I think. Jajah is going into partnership with them for some applications and they are going to use Mobivox´s service to provide the same mobile service for their customers as Mobivox currently provides. This may be good for us all, who knows!
