Best way to stop a puppy biting?
Not my dog but my parents cocker spaniel is a bit of a biter. I understand the need for them to learn the bite inhibition but what is the best way to discourage it all together? The puppy is 16 weeks old with teeth like little needles! She's got a bad habit of jumping and biting your arms and has drawn blood on quite a few…

What will help my grief? Burial at home or individual cremation
Yesterday, at 4.45pm, we had to let my gorgeous girl go, Nell was an English Springer Spaniel whom I found on my way to work just under 4 years ago. Cheapest place to get Applaws cat food?
I recently bought a small bag of Applaws cat food from Pets at Home for our 2 cats to try, after hearing that it was cereal free. Our dog is fed BARF but the cats are both rescue and very much in love with their biscuit foods . But if this suits them I'm more than happy to switch to it, as it seems much more natural…

For those that use Oko Plus cat litter...
... they now make a pellet anti-tracking version which is still flushable! It is a little more expensive than the traditional litter, but IMO the extra cost is more than worth it to stop the tracking - the stuff gets everywhere!! Sorry if this is old news, its the first time I've noticed they make it.…

Has Anyone Here Emptied Their Dog's Anal Sacs
Hope no one is eating their dinner as they read this! My dog's anal sacs seem to fill up quite regularly. I've spoken to the vet who has advised a high fibre diet. No problems with this. She emptied them out this morning whilst I watched. My dog was very placid, didn't swirm about so I wondered if I could do it myself.…
