I realise that there will be a bit more fibre in grass but will it always affect her in this way or will she get used to it? TIA

The only thing I have noticed is I have only heard her bark once or twice in the time we have owned her! She just never ever…

Horses tied up day and night, called RSPCA, not sure what they can do
Hi all A road we drive down always has these poor animals tied up, it doesn't matter what time of day it is they are always there, they look in good form, but quality of life, must be equal to nothing. the field doesn't have a fence, but surely the owners could invest in a fence? Horses like to be free to run around and…

Advice on a catsitter for 19 year old cat with diabetes (Chester, Cheshire)
Hi We have a much loved 19 year old (!) black male cat with diabetes who needs two injections a day. We are going on holiday and could put him in a cattery but not sure he would survive. Could anyone offer any advice on how and where to find a catsitter for a few weeks? Is it expensive compared with the £7 per day cattery…

Puppy has two sets of teeth?
We've just been talking to a couple outside the polling station and they were stroking my dog and then the bloke started rooting around in Paddy's mouth (as you do!) and noticed he had two sets of teeth and said that i'm not giving him enough to chew on as the baby set should have fallen out by now so I should get him a…

Raised Dog Bed Wanted
I'm on the look out for a raised dog bed that won't break the bank - any suggestions please? It would need to be at least 4' long by 2.5' to 3' wide and can be any height as long as it's off the floor. The dogs have an old sofa at the moment, but my nose tells me it's time that moved on :)

Change in Cats Fur
Hi I'm just looking for some advice or to see if this has happened to anyone else's cat before. I went away on Thursday and left her with my partner at home and when I came back on Saturday I noticed that a patch of her fur on her back by her tail has changed colour. She is black all over (and quite glossy as well) but…

Fussy Dog?
Our one year old Westie dog has recently started being really awful with his eating habits. He's been fine on two meals a day (breakfast and evening) and has been wolfing it down and then licking the bowl. We went on holiday for ten days in the middle of last month and he went into the kennels. He ate fine there and came…

Owner of very elderly dog died, no one will help
My mums elderly neighbour sadly passed away today, she leaves behind a very old jack russell (not sure how old but my mum has been friendly with the neighbour for about 20 years and can't remember her not having the dog) She's only got one eye (though that doesn't seem to bother her) she's arthritic and seems to be pretty…

Pet Insurance - does it cover Euthansia?
We had to have our dear old (13 years) cat put to sleep at the weekend, his heart had had enough. I know I had to go in emergency time but the bill was just over £170! Lucky that he'd been a healthy cat, I think we'd only taken him to the vets once before 10 years ago, as we'd never had him insured. We'd like to get…
