We can borrow this money from family (so its not going to put us on the breadline, but we are not made of money). And any ideas…

I wonder if someone can give me some advise? Mum & I have sold our houses and are shortly moving into a new one together. Mum has two very loved cats, who were also the pride and joy of my Dad until he died last year. The oldest one, who is about 8 is the most nervous cat I have ever seen. She never rests, always prowling…

Raw fed Kitten
Well, I would like to introduce Mitzy a ten week old grey/white Birman cross who has joined my merry gang. After all I have learned about appropriate diets for cats over the last year or so, I would really like Mitzy to eat a mainly raw meat diet, topped up with premium wet food. I tried her on a small chunk of chicken…

A couple of stupid questions about ducks...
...if you don't mind! Googling is not getting me anywhere. When I read that ducks need a certain amount of sunshine a day in order to lay eggs, does it mean daylight or actual sun shining on them? We have no grass, only concrete slabs, can we still keep ducks if we cover the slabs with wood chips or something similar?…

I really want to get a flap, but keep finding reasons not too....
George is a killer, he's a hunter:( He's never brought anything in the house (thank god:eek:). My DD says she saw him attacking something black & fast in the garden the other day, with all the neighbourhood cats looking on from the fence, shed, garden furniture, 5 of them dotted about. She didn't have her glasses on, but…

Neighbour's cat coing into our house
As the title suggests a neighbourhood cat is coming into our house and, I suspect, is eating our cats' food. Any ideas about how to stop this? We can't fit a different cat flap as it's not our house so may have to be more...creative! Anyone got any tried and tested ideas? The title is supposed to say coming, obviously!

Considering buying a Westie
We are thinking of buying a Westie, are there any Westie owners out there with any information on a reputable breeder in the north of England. At a push we could travel but it would be easier if it was local to Cheshire.

Dog goes INSANE at walkie time, help!
I am sat here in tears because I built up the courage to take my dog for a walk by myself (I have anxiety problems and the last few days have been really bad) but I couldn't get his harness on to take him because he goes absolutely insane when it's walk time. I tried for like 5 minutes to get it on and I do usually end up…

I really like the breed and have read up on them but you can't beat first hand experience. Is there any difference between males and females training and temperament wise.

I have kept Tiger Barbs for a few months ... and I think they're great. However, there is one in particular that seems to bully the others. Two have died from stress of being constantly chased. I have read that getting more tiger barbs helps, so I bought a few more today (7 in total) but now they are all hiding by the…
