couple of pension questions
my 24 year old son has been offered a pension where the employer matches what he puts in. 1] how do you work out how much he would have to put in to get an average pension? 2] if let's say he had a pot of 100,000 and he died a couple a years after he retires, what happens to the pot of money?

Locking in my Nuvos pension
I joined the civil service in January, and joined Nuvos. There is a fair chance of redundancy hitting in the next year. I seem to have just accidentally got some cash out of my pension
And with all tax paid! Nearly a decade ago, I used an IFA to move a variety of St James Place investments to SIPP Deal before deciding a few years later to go DIY and moving again. When my SJP pension was moved, I couldn't make the numbers work and asked the IFA and SJP to check it a few times. I was assured it was all…
