Locking in my Nuvos pension

I joined the civil service in January, and joined Nuvos.

There is a fair chance of redundancy hitting in the next year. I'm keen to keep whatever pension I've built up in Nuvos - it is a valuable part of my pay and conditions.

I understand that if I'm made redundant before two years have passed I get my employee contributions (only) returned to me.

I know I can prevent a return of contributions by transferring in a previous pension. I do have a money purchase pension I could transfer, but I quite like the flexibility that gives me before retirement age.

Does anyone know if its normally possible to transfer just part of a money purchase pension, or does it have to be the whole thing?

Alternatively, is there anything else I can do to make sure that I don't lose my time in Nuvos?

Your ideas greatly appreciated.
