Scottish Equitable PPP
I have a PPP with Scottish Equitable. The current fund value was only £9781 on the 6/08/06. At the age of 75, which is 19 years away, the projected yearly pension is only £824 which is hardly worth waiting for assuming I live long enough to collect it. I would like to know if it is possible to claim any of this fund back…

unable to transfer protected rights?
If I take the 25% TFC from my NU pension plan , and then want to set up income drawdown with the rest, it seems (from what i can see on some threads) that you cannot move the protected rights portion into a Sipp to do this. if you can't move the PR portion what do you do with it?

Income drawdown: watch out for ripoff charges
FT report It's even more important than usual to keep charges as low as possible when using drawdown for your pension, as high charges ratchet up the risk dramatically.

Advice on pension needed for late starter..
Hi, I am leaving it late but here is my predicament. I left the country between 1988 and 1998. I made no payments to the tax man. On my return I wrote and offered to pay anything owed in taxes. I paid for the previous 6 years as the tax man told me he could not see further back than that. I have a very small navy pension,…

Company changing my pension... advice
Hi all, The company I work for got bought out a few months ago and they are sorting out the pensions. I was on a 5% non-contributory pension, i.e. the employer paid 5% and I paid nothing. They are now changing this to a Stakeholder scheme where I have to pay 3% in order to get the 5%. If I don't pay 3% I don't get…

Hi, I am a beneficiary in a will. The deceased left a pension, but I can't get anyone to tell me anything about it.
