Flight fuel surcharges still on?
Just learned that on a £450 fare the fuel surcharge was about £140! With oil being about $40 (down from $140 in mid-2008), I think this is an extortion. Is there any way to negotiate it away? Mind you, BA and Virgin were forced to refund illegal surcharges some time ago...
