I was fortunate to win a flight with Jet2. I quite fancy Tenerife for about 4 nights towards the end of April as I need some sun & a break & have put 2 flight dates as my 1st two choices. I would do Lanzarote but flights only weekly but putting as my 3rd flight choice anyway. To keep costs down I don't want to travel too far from the airport, I am also thinking nice relaxing All Inclusive may be best option too as when I was in Torremolinos last Nov on my annual trip there, prices for drinks & cabs had gone up rather alot.
Any idea's
Ps I'm a single bloke early 40's.
Thanks

I can only recommed places in Costa Adeje Playa De Las Americas Tenerife as we holiday there regularly however have never went All Inlcusive. The hotels in Fanabe Area are all fantastic looking and I have heard many good reports.
I think Caledonia Park does All Inclusive however it is up quite a steep hill. I have stayed in Iberostar Bouganville and it was a good hotel and central enough. Also the Iberostar Las Dalias is rumoured to be a good hotel.
If you would consider a self catering apartment or private villa. Contact Tenerife Temptations www.tenerifetemptations.com We have booked with them many times and have had no faults whatsoever. I would recommend the Teguste Villas complex, a range of private villas set around a pool. Costs start at approx 250 per apartment per week.
My parents went in June last year and did say it was def a lot more expensive than on previous years especially places with entertainment as the alcohol is a lot more expensive.
Also if you stay in Costa Adeje only 15-20 minutes in a taxi so approx 20 euros at the most.
However I love Tenerife and would love to return every year. Have a fab time.0 -
There are some Tenerife hotel reviews HERE0

Dream place have 2 fantastic hotels in Tenerife, one in Las Americas and the other out towards Adeje, both just 20 mins from the airport. The Noelia Sur and The Gran Tacande.

I think they do an AI option as well.0 -

Sorry, but another no vote for the Conquistador! I used to go there with my parents in the 80's, and its not changed much!
Best hotel in Americas is Europe Villa Cortes, but v.pricey.
Try the costa adeje area, very much more upmarket, nice hotels there are.....
Dreamplace Gran Tacande- decent value, near to beach
Gran Anthelia- decent value, sea front
Gran Bahia Del Duque- v.expensive, but nice sea front location
Jardins de Nivaria- sea front
Vinnci la Plantation- beautiful, but not cheap, stunnig views, but away from beach.
Aviod Costa Adeje gran, this hotel looks very nice but away from the sea, and uphill walk all the way home!0 -

Another vote for Costa Adeje area. I stayed at the Guayarmina Princess and is was fine, tho if I could afford it I'd have stayed at the Riu. The Bouganville Playa is nice a bit more towards Playa.0
