What to do with leftover lamb?
I am doing a roast leg of lamb tomorrow and in true money saving (old) style want to make something with the leftover lamb any suggestions? OH and me like most types of foods and have normal onion, tinned toms, herbs in cupboards.

Cleaning artificial flowers
I have some artificial flower arrangements that i am bored with. I was thinking of putting them towards my next load of car boot collection. They are in good condition, not faded, but obviously a bit dusty and could do with a bit of a clean. Got any ideas folks? Its a shame to put them in the bin.

Buying a slow cooker (which? & why?)
I am swayed by the magic of the slow cooker. Mum has said she weill get me one for my birthday next month. Which is the best sort - I know nothing of slow cookers. There are 2 of us, but OH eats for 2 himself lol. Plus, not averse to the idea of making lots and stretching etc. Do I need temp controls, timers etc? Help?

Crispy roast potatoes
My method for the tastiest roast potatoes is - Drizzle them with olive oil, shake a little garlic powder over them and for extra flavour, crumble a little chicken Oxo over them before they go in. Stick 'em in the top shelf of a very hot oven and turn after 15 mins. Scrumptious!
