Gambling debt. Using which broker?
I have credit card debt and a lot of it is through gambling. Do they look at what you have spent it on when remortgaging? Has anyone used 'which?' Mortgage broker? Never gambling again. Husband controls everything now and am disgusted with myself. Will not even buy a lottery ticket.

mortgage on a freehold flat?
Hi reading freehold advice and getting confused, the general opinion is it's very hard if not impossible to get a mortgage on a freehold. But then Martin says there's no such thing as a freehold, elsewhere I read that often its a commonhold that's mismarketed as a freehold, then I read that often things are falsely…

Question about borrowing more on property
I own 50% of my property and want to buy the remaining 50% as I can afford to now. I presumed I could easily afford it as my current salary far outweighs the normal multipliers to get the amount I need to buy out the other 50%. Reducing dividend income + rental payments = problem
I receive a large part of my income as dividends from the company I own. Over the last 3 years this income has decreased, part due to me actually working less, and also last tax year due to me paying a much larger salary to trigger NI payments. My overall income though has remained fairly similar. I have just returned from…
