Lenders who consider satisfied CCJ

Options
Hi All,

My husband had a CCJ against him which was satisfied two years ago. We are both hoping to apply for a joint mortgage and I would like to know which lender's would consider the CCJ and borrow accordingly. If the list of banks, including high street banks could be provided, it would be much appreciated

I do not think your going to get what you want. I cant see any broker on here doing that as thats our bread and butter. I know my spreadsheet took me about 6 months to put together and needs updating continuously. The chances of an individual having that info is also pretty unlikely.

Putting that to one side, its not as simple as that. Lenders accepting defaults/CCJs does not mean much. Firstly, whilst they may accept them it will still form part of your score and some lenders are more likely to accept them than others.
Also some lenders have rules - ie maximum amounts, where they satisfied within a certain timeframe, what sort of company/person was the money owed to etc etc.

Also, some of the "better" lenders who do accept defaults are normal-ish rates only deal with brokers.

You may think I come across biased which is understandable, but there are times on this site where I have said to people crack on and go to your lender of choice. I am not one to bang the broker drum but I think in this case you would be wise to speak to one.
