He's not given a price yet, but an identical flat in the block is currently on market for £190k, although has not sold in the last 4 months!…

Difficulty in acquiring a FTB mortgage..

Home Report Valuation
Hi all, Just a quick question I hope someone can help with. I saw a house for sale offers over 75,000 (in Scotland) but the home report has valued it at 95,000, does this mean the mortgage company would require less of a deposit from me if, for example, the seller accepted an offer of 80,000? Or is this wishful thinking…

If I convert £5100 of this into a Barclays Golden Isa it will earn 3.1% interest as well as being included in the offset arrangement. This seems such an obvious thing to do it makes me wonder If I am missing something? cslogg

How to work out what houses to view based on mortgage?

This seems a wide band, and it would make a big difference if I was able to look for houses with a mortgage at the upper end of this…
