Mortgage pay off or keep savings??
I have an endowment mortgage of £24k, and savings of £15k. Is it a better option to pay off a lump sum of 15K and leave me with 8K left on my mortgage or keep the savings where they are or invest the money elsewhere?

nationwide fixed rate mortgage - end it 3 months early

Me and my partner are able to get a mortgage over 40 years paying £500 a month and paying a 15 percent deposit. We have a joint salary of 40K but one of us is in temporary employment. Not sure if its a good deal tho being over 40 years.
