Response from First direct regarding yesterdays 0.5% BoE drop


" We are currently reviewing our Mortgage Standard Variable Rate in light of yesterdays Bank of England base rate reduction. Once a decision has been made we will notify customers who are on the SVR.

Thanks. They traditionally seem to take ages to make a decision. FWIW, if they dont pass it on, they will no longer have the lowest SVR, so hopefully they will pass it on and remain the lowest.
