A good deal??

Me and my partner are able to get a mortgage over 40 years paying £500 a month and paying a 15 percent deposit. We have a joint salary of 40K but one of us is in temporary employment. Not sure if its a good deal tho being over 40 years.

My honest opinion...........the shorter the term the better! If i were you I would go for the lowest term you can afford! if you struggle later then increase the years.

blimey that is a lot of years ...u must be paying a lot back if u work that figure back.....perhaps dont it might be too depressing
