Hi- Saw the following advice column in today's Guardian:http://money.guardian.co.uk/experts/mortgage/story/0,,2075013,00.html Could the advice work? (i.e. writing to the mortgage lender and asking for mortgage redemption fees to be reimbursed) I paid about £3000 in redemption fees earlier this year and it would be great if…

Mortgage advice please
Had a meeting with an independent mortgage advisor a couple of weeks ago. He seemed to think he'd be able to get us a mortgage no problem, despite me having an old credit card default on my file (which is satisfied). He tried to get an agreement in principle with A & L but they turned us down. Turns out my other half has…

Re-mortgage in my wifes name can i stay on the title deeds.
My wife and I are re-mortgaging as our initial joint fixed rate has ended. Due to myself having poor credit as I am on a debt management plan we explored her taking out the mortgage on her own. She has been accepted and it is a much better rate than if we were to apply jointly. My question is about the deeds can I remain…

Finding a new mortgage
On November of this year, I will come to the end of my 3 year Homestart interest only HSBC mortgage repayments. After this time the payments will go up roughly £100 per month. This is also the time, when I'm free to look for another mortgage deal, as the 3 year "tied to" period is over. How do I go about looking for…

Any opinions on Coventry buy-to-let mortgage please.
Hi, My partner and I are moving to Australia in September but we would like to keep our house and rent it out. Completion date today, but no funds have arrived
Remortgaged with Ing, given today as completion date and told funds would be in my account. Just checked my online account and no funds have arrived. They did take the May Day holiday into account when giving me this date. Are completion dates and fund transfers normally accurate which means there is some problem or other…

When I had my initial application telephone marathon they told me there was a…
