Just looking for something with good battery life, preferably not hideous, with about 200xnet mins per month, on a good cashback deal thru' a vendor who doesn't make it almost impossible to get cash... back.. Am also registered with Quidco at the moment, so anything from the,m would be a plus too. Any outstanding deals out…

Loyalty to provider
As a T-Mobile loyal customer, I've just negotiated an 18 month deal with 170 minutes / 340 texts for £5 per month. I'm happy with my current phone so I didn't need to upgrade. Damned impressive I feel. So hustle them and they will come up with the goods.

Got a Nokia N95 or N82? Beware of involuntary data usage!
I have just bought a Nokia N82 and don't currently have a data usage bolt-on with my contract. I'm with Virgin and was concerned that I might end up paying lots for data usage so I've made sure I only use the web browsing via the wireless connection. But, being a little paranoid, I thought I'd just check my on-line bill…

Dialaphone bought out by Phones4u - choice is disappearing ..
As of late last week, Phones4u have bought out Dial-A-Phone. http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/Phones_4u_buys_dialaphone.html What are the implications of this for consumers, given CPW have bought out a number of retailers, and now Phones4u - and many of the better known independents have gone out of business. Less choice =…

T-Mobile PAC code
My contract with T-Mobile finishes on 26th March. Now they tell me that if I request a PAC code before this date there will be a charge. They also tell me that it takes 5 days for the number transfer to go through. So given that I will still be a T-Mobile customer for those 5 days, why can't I get the PAC code on the 21st…

The future is hopefully not Orange!
Can anyone suggest a way out of my Orange contract? I got the original phone in October 06 (18 month contract). Then in July 07 I signed up to the 'free' broadband. I am confident that I was NOT advised that I would have to go back to month one of my 18 month contract. I only discovered this when I called into the local…

Does anyone know the N93's cost price on O2?
Carphone Warehouse are offering me a shockingly bad deal on my renewal and I'm trying to get some leverage and work out exactly what I've earned them during my contract. I took out the contract through OneStopPhoneShop 16 months ago, can anyone give me an informed idea of what sort of price they'd have paid for the N93…

T-Mobile European messaging loophole; half price international messages
What's the deal? Simply send your message as a picture message (MMS) rather than a text (SMS) when you're in Europe, and it's half price. And you don't actually need to include a picture! How does it work? A logic-defying peculiarity in T-Mobile's terms means it costs 40p to send an SMS text from a Zone 2 country (see list…
