o2, free calls under 3 minutes
i'm using o2's pay as you go (£10 top up and a 100 free texts for the month) but i've noticed calls under 3 minutes return the message. "Calls under 3 minutes fall for qualifiying calls." so they're basically free, anyone else know about this or do i have a dodgy phone/sim? thanks.

OneStopPhoneShop fiasco re transferring my existing number!
I ordered a k750i from OSPS approx 4 weeks ago. I had an existing contract with o2 which had just turned one year old so I asked them for my PAC to transfer my number to the new network (vodaphone). No probs so far. I then placed my order on the OSPS website and gave them the PAC to transfer the number. One week later and…

Cashback
The deals I'm currently looking for for my first contract phone are all cashback deals, or deals that refund line rental and so on. I was hoping you guys could tell me which companies online offer GENUINE cashback, in the form of cheques I have to apply for, and which are using pseudo-cashback, like dialaphone, and will…

Choosing a combination PDA and phone
I currently use an iPAQ PDA but am fed up with juggling this and a seperate phone, so am looking for a replacement in a single unit. All of the information on phones from the various networks that I can find is aimed at selling their various tarriff deals rather than comparing actual phones. Can anyone suggest a website…

Samsung Junk
Friend just got a new Samsung E720 - can't understand a word she says when speaking to her. Not a problem on my end, I've tried calling from several mobiles and we're on the same network (O2), and there was no problem when she had her old phone. I've read a few things on the net about this. Anyone here had this problem…

At the time discussion of the deal always inculed the 'additional £10 online bonus' and as far as I recall there was no mention of this being a £10 voucher. My Brain Hurts even though its simple :)
Hi A quote from Martin's advice on mobiles is as follows "Advanced MoneySavers Note: Switching main provider can make sense The UK’s cheapest call providers are currently two small sister companies call18866 and call1899. To access them you dial a prefix number. This means it can be used on top of another calls provider.…

PAYG + pop3
Hi i'm hoping someone can help me out. i've got a new phone with a camera and want to set it up to email the photos. HOWEVER, o2 won't allow pop3 access via WAP or GPRS on the PAYG network (you apparently have to have a contract and join their 'Mobile Web'). So do any of the other networks allow access to pop3/smtp via…

Vodafone Handset Upgrade
Just a quick note, if you're going to use Martin's article on "Batter down your annual mobile phone contract costs by up to £600", it seems that Vodafone are a tough cookie to crack. I called up and said the usual, "I'm thinking of switching to a different network for a cheaper deal" and quoted the deal my girlfriend has…

First Contract Phone
I'm just about to leave higher education, and for what I'm doing next I require a contract phone, and I 99% certain need it to be on Orange. I've never gotten a contract phone, and totally don't understand what factors there are to look out for. The phone itself can be very basic - the only features I want are plenty of…
