Hi all, So I've read the ISA guide and I'm still completely clueless as to how to go about deciding which ISA I should get. I'm looking to put £200 into it monthly and really just want the best deal I can get out of it. Are there any easily recommended UK cash ISA's that I should be looking at, for someone who doesn't know…

I got this 2 years ago and it's expiring. Any ideas where to put the money now? I've not used this years allowance at all and don't think I will given the poor rates on ISAs. Anyway! My MAIN question follows... In year 2 I got > £200 in interest (4.1% on the balance) but in year 1 I only got £3.70!? How can this be????

Halifax ISA transfer shambles
I requested the transfer of an ISA from the Halifax to a local Building Society in Yorkshire. There was a slight mistake made on the transfer form by the new provider which the Halifax thought was strange but even though they had my contact details, they decided to do nothing about it. Consequently the Halifax charged me…

Do I stay with ISA or move - don't understand maths
Hi, My problem is that I struggle to work out how much I will earn in my ISA at the end of the year and whether it is better to switch. ISAs questions I don't get
Hi all, Been saving hard for a while and looking to protect my money. I get the fact that a ISA can give you decent interest rate however I have three questions: 1. If an ISA was 3% AER and I put in £100 for the whole 2014/2015 year thoeretically I would get paid out £3 interest in April 2015 and then that £103 total would…

Nationwide ISAs
I opened a Nationwide regular saver ISA in April and have so far paid in £1750. This ISA doesn't accept transfers. I noticed over the weekend that there is a Flexclusive ISA paying 1.75% which will accept transfers. However you have to open it with at least £1. I messaged them to ask if the transfer in of another ISA could…

Why upgrade to Santander Direct Saver from FRISA?
I've got a FRISA maturing on 1st July with Santander paying 4% interest but they are offering a Direct Saver ISA paying 1.7% interest which I am eligible to upgrade to within 28 days of maturity. I am just wondering why would anyone want to do this, given the lower rate of interest offered? Am I missing something?
