ISA newbie
I have £7k of cash in hand and I have never had an ISA before. I am considering an ISA (3% interest pa) in my name to deposit this year's allowance of £5340 and the rest in an ISA (3.2 % interest pa) in my wife's name. 1.) Can I deposit the whole £5340 as a lumpsum with my chosen ISA today or is there a limit on the max…

Multiple ISA Query
Hi, I have all my savings in a Santander Direct ISA. The interest rate is about to plummet so I opened the new Flexible ISA with Santander to benefit from 3.3% on new savings. Obviously the Santander Flexible ISA doesn't allow transfers in. So I opened this thinking I could open a Direct Reward ISA with Halifax and…

The other piece of paper enclosed is a totally blank page! she hasn't asked for one 2) A second letter…

I now need to withdraw and use some of the money for home improvements/maintenance. I am presuming that I could withdraw the £5100 if I needed to and…

Halifax ISA Transfer Confusion
Can any Halifax ISA customers answer me the following question please? If I open a Cash ISA which allows transfers, can I also ADD my £5350 allowance for this year to the transfer? The reason I ask is that the account states "no additional payments once account is open". It's a Fixed Rate Cash ISA by the way.

Best platform for selected S&S ISA
Hi guys I have been looking at ready made ISA's from different platforms. To my understanding these are ISA's set up by supermarkets which in turn invest in a variety of funds, which are labelled as low, moderate risk adventuros etc. These look appealing to me as an inexperienced investor. My questions are, 1) If the…
