Car Insurance
Don't want to kick off a big debate but do have a question. I'm 29, own my own car and have 6 years no claims bonus. My car insurance is due next month and last year I paid a little under £400 for it. Have always kept the £400 figure in my head as what will be the 'upper limit' of hopefully the cheapest quote I'll get this…

A record?
Got our home insurance renewal quote in the post today - up from £110 to £436! Now, I know we should expect an increase and I was certainly expecting to have to haggle or move but is this a record? Has anyone else's insurance quadrupled (or more) without any of the details changing?

Annual Building & contents insurance, now moving home,
Hi All, I pay my Building & Contents insurance as a one-off annual charge, as it is much cheaper then the monthly direct debits. However I will be moving home and there is quite a few months left on my annual insurance. Would I be able to get a refund on the insurance left, or would I be able to transfer to my new house…

mis sold life insurance
we purchased life insurance in 2006 for a large amount of £190,000 which we thought would cover the term of our mortgage and clear the outstanding debt if one of us passed away during the term. We have since found out that the insurance ends before the mortgage term thus we would have paid instalments for years leaving us…

Need insurances - what would YOU do?
Hi All I know insurances seems to be a very personal thing and probably rightly so, but I wanted some advice on what you would do given my situation. I'm currently insurance-less apart from the usual car and home cover. I'm 30, no dependants yet, getting married in December. I have a mortgage, joint with my fiancee, on a…

Top home insurers keep changing!
I went with LV for my contents insurance last year as they were one of the top 3 on the Which? recommended list. This year, the top 3 are different.
