Carpeting question
I want to replace the carpet in a few rooms. Oh works for a carpet manufacturing firm, so sourcing reasonably priced carpet is not a problem. best place to buy new combi boiler?
As above really, need a new gas combi boiler for my house, 2 bed, mid terrance, no bath only a shower and just myself living here. Can anyone recommend a good one and a place to buy from? Bath sealant & grout
I am in the process of re-grouting and re-sealing round the bath. Does anyone have any tips for removing the remnants of the old sealant. Most of it has gone there is just a trace left. Also what is the best way to get the old grout out? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. Is this one of the worst jobs in the world?

I have been trying to find a builder/plumber for ages but have given up after a number of work men have let me down. I have also found by looking at there finished work, that it is of poor quailty. Owing to this I am planning to do it my self. Can any one tell me how hard it is to fit a power shower??.

Need help.My gas boiler has broken down.So old no parts available.I can't afford to buy a new boiler at the moment but have no hot water.No immersion heater in airing cupboard.Tried phoning an electrician to fit an immersion for the time being for hot water but no one wants the job.Anyone got any advice?

im looknig for 2 venetian blinds, 2.20m wide x 1.30m drop. Does anyone know a place that does them this wide? And what sort of money will they be? I was worried that due to the width, they would be quite heavy to operate up and down and also may sag in the middle? I dont really want aluminium ones, prefer wood or plastic…

sky digibox wont turn on
was watching tv last nite, and the digibox suddenly turned itself off, and now it wont turn back on any ideas on whether its knackered or not before i call sky, as i dont want them to send an engineer out, and i end up paying loads flea
