74 years remaining on lease - good or bad?
Quick question! I'm interested in a property to buy and I was told that there are only 74 years left on the leasehold. From memory I think I read that leases less than 75 years aren't desirable. Could someone please help me out with the pitfalls of a lease of this length? Thank you!

'Easier2move'... anyone heard of them?
As part of my remortgage, I've been contacted by this outfit who say they've allocated my case to a named firm of solicitors for handling the legal side. I can see no reason for this company to exist as, to me, it fulfils no visible function. I had arranged matters through a broker and was expecting next to hear directly…

Buying before we've sold
Any advice please. We have found a fabulous house, but haven't sold ours yet. They are looking for a commitment from us, which seems fair enough. But we are worried…

However, last night my brother informed me that my Nephew was unhappy in his current rented accomodation and was looking to move. Can anyone tell me what difference renting to a family member would make? Would I still need a BTL mortgage?…
