Can anyone recommend a Let to But mortgage

I own my own home and my OH owns his own home, which we currently rent out through a letting agent.

The mortgage on the rented home is £50,000 and the value approx is £90,000We are currently looking into changing the mortgage to a let to buy mortgage, so in the long term we can buy a house together, ideally keeping both houses.

Can anyone recommend a competitive lender that would offer a let to buy mortgage?

Thanks

why not see a broker and get them to do the legwork? If you go to someone who is 'fees free' it won't cost you anything extra.

why not sell the rented house and either pay of your mortgage on your home or put it in savings, you'll get a nice bit of interest on that amount. Plus you'll have more time!
    Money and time saving idea!

PS I think you mean 'Buy to Let' :)

Noyk - she doesn't mean "buy to let" - she's looking to convert her OH's BTL mortgage into a product which will enable them to buy a home together.

  • I have used Stroud & Swindon for fixed rate BTL. I can thoroughly recommend them and they are extremely competitive .
  • Thanks everyone - will have a look at some of the ones that have been mentioned.

We want to keep both houses, as we see them as good investments that will provide for our future.
