Cheapest place to buy Almond milk
Is there anywhere cheap to buy unsweetened almond milk? Cheapest I can see online is £1.39 for Blue Diamond at Asda. Is there anywhere that sells it in bulk, or any shops that do own brand that's cheaper? Been searching but not much joy it seems.

In your opinion, is Coke/Fanta zero better than regular fizzy drinks? Do you think the fizzed beverage will ever be considered "healthy" to drink?

As the title says really - has anyone seen bottles of kirsch in any of the big supermarkets or chains? I might be blind but I can never seem to track any down and I'd really like some for a recipe.

In got a few things in the freezer, only enough for 2 dinners, it's likely that I will also get…

At Last - Dine in for £10
I'd begun to think that M & S had given these up - it seems like ages since they've done one. Can't do a link, it's beyond my feeble capabilities, but I thought I'd give a 'heads up'.

Almost £2 for cauliflower!!!
I am quite surprised that no-one has mentioned this. Yes I know the weather has not been the best for British produce. But charging £1.95 (Sain) and £1.98 (Tes) for a standard size cauli is taking the p**s. Asda got theirs at £1.38 and I bought a HUGE one there a few weeks ago for 50p. Aldi have theirs for just over £1 I…

Trendy foods = price rises
Has anyone else noticed that as soon as a food becomes "trendy" for want of a better word the price seems to double?? Take belly pork for example, now endorsed by celebrity chefs the humble belly pork used to be a really cheap, almost throwaway cut of meat and you could pick up a pack of belly slices for just over £1 or a…

What's cheap in the Supermarket each week
I've come across sites that tell you what's on sale, and magazines tell you what is "in season" but so often now prices can be affected by many other outside influences. Therefore, does anyone know of a site that can tell me, each week, what is cheap by food group for example. I did my menu planning last week and then when…
