Jet 2 Seating allocation with child
I booked a holiday last night with Jet 2 and immediately found that there are no remaining seats on the aircraft that will allow me and my 11 year old to sit together.... Pretty much the last person to book it seems. Does anyone have any advise in this situation please? My daughter isn't the keenest of flyers, furthermore…

Easyjet 'Extra Legroom'
Can anyone who has actually used this facility tell me whether or not it includes checked baggage - as in 'hands free'? The site confusingly does not mention that it includes it, but does say that it includes 'dedicated bag drop'. I don't mind paying the extra £5 for 'hands free', but I obviously don't want to effectively…

Premium Economy
It's been many years since I flew to Australia from the UK. Then it was just simple Economy class as distinct from Business and First, and without a load of chargeable options to confuse me. Looking at the array of information directly on airlines web sites, I can't work out if Premium Economy is a new product upgraded…

How does Hertz avoid the 14 days money back law?
About to book a hertz car and I notice that they no longer give a free refund if you change your mind. I thought under UK law you have 14 days to change your mind when purchasing online? Hertz now charge £30 to cancel the booking, even within 5 minutes! It previously gave a 7 day free cancellation period. Is this legal?

I paid for a SAGA holiday flying with Ryan Air back in February. After reading MSE emails, I contacted SAGA about boarding passes and they send out boarding passes before travel so that takes care of people having to print them. However, because SAGA booked the holiday, I cannot contact Ryan Air to purchase priority…

Normal steam iron in BA hand luggage
Sounds weird I know, but is a steam iron (with the water drained out) likely to get through security? I'm flying British Airways if that is relevant. It is fairly heavy so I don't want to send it in the post if I can avoid it.
