Dmp payment date .CCCS
Does anyone know if its possibly to change the date you make your payment to the CCCS. Originally it was agreed it would be done on the 1st of the month but it would be so much better for us if it was around middle of the month . Thanks in advance.

Debt Problems
I have a friend who has been quietly racking up debt for years. His wife has Parkinson's and he is planning for their retirement. He is considering making full and final settlement offers (roughly 50%) to all his creditors. Since the house is in joint names with his wife, he does have some assets, in the form of equity in…

Helping OH in debt
Hi all, This is my first post, hope it is in the right place! My OH has debts of ~£25k - thankfully we have enough income coming in and he is paying them off steadily. We have different attitudes to money, as he has a bit of a tendancy to stick his head in the sand, whereas I like knowing exactly where I stand. So I find…

When I was setting up all DD's during the moving in phase (at my home) 2 years ago, I aimed to have a bill come out each week. Obviously as I have added bills over the time I've been here…

Debt what to do BC + Wells
Hi, I owe Scottish power £692.99 for a final bill after moving out of a rented house because they only estimated my bill every month and apparently I used a hell of a lot more than they thought. I said I couldn't pay and it was unfair as no one came to read the meter. I said I have just left University and don't have a job…

I am trying to get rid of an overdraft I have had for years from an old student account, currently standing at 1,650D approximately. I pay it off with a minimal monthly amount and keep dipping into it, but am looking to become more disciplined and pay it off quicker. I have just had notification that the interest rate for…

What to do?
Just got back from CAB meeting and they basically said the only option was for us to go bankrupt, which is what i have thought all the time. In the meantime CAB are going to send letters offering token payments to all creditors until we can save up the fees to go bankrupt. My OH is trying to sell the car privately and then…
