As I’m sure goes the old adage of many a new post on this forum (or so I imagine, since I myself am new), I am in an unfathomable mess. I am so tired of worrying about myself that I can barely articulate a single thing about the whole thing, such is the depth of my problems. I would write about it from the very beginning,…

Better to have access to less credit or more?
My Experian Credit Report says im using 80% of my available credit. Is it worth me decreasing my credit card limits, so this figure would show im access a higher percentage of available credit, as there's less credit available? Would this make my credit score any better?

Debt Advice Needed
Hi guys, I'm hoping some lovely people can help advise me with my situation! I had a contract with Orange back in 2002 when I was 18, I only paid 1 month of a 12 month contract, as I unfortunately lost my job a week or 2 after obtaining the contract. The phone was cut off, and I never heard from Orange, even during the…

Defaults - once the six years is up
Are defaults removed from your credit record as soon as the six years is up or does it take a month or so? I have two from November 2003 and I'm wondering when would be a good time to check my record on a free, month's trial.
