I have had one of my debts sold to Moorcroft. I have asked Moorcroft to send me a CCA as they send me a nasty letter saying that they may take me to court if I did not pay the debt in full. This was 12 days ago. Do I send another letter to them, if so which one do I send to Moorcroft. At the mo I am still waiting for the…

Our SOA - mat leave in October
I’m really not sure where we should head in relation to our debts (£60k). Spoke to an IVA company last night – very helpful and clear. Some of the negatives included the possibility of having to stop OH’s pension conts and reducing our mortgage payments to interest only. Realistically I think we’ll end up repaying near…

What is the best way to get the interest stopped on Debts whilst on a DMP?
HI Well we've been in our dmp now for almost 5 years, and we're still paying interest on most of the debts, so pretty much not getting anywhere. I've asked payplan to send our a request, but we've had absolutely no luck there. So now we're going to write letters ourselves. Is this the best option? Should we just keep…

Long story short...my brother went overseas last year and, without my knowing (though he told me later), he wrote to various places to whom he had outstanding obligations (eg. mobile phone company) and gave my address as his new mailing address. She has tried opening a new bank account with a couple of the high…

Big debt with a massive interest rate.
Hi all, I currently have a credit card with virgin (it was the 0% for 15 month deal) I owe a whopping £7200, the problem is the interest free period has ran out. The APR was at 21.0% but as of January this year it jumped to 35.9%!!! Which means I pay roughly £200 interest a month! I cant get any more credit to pay the debt…

For the last few days we have been phoned up (text to voice mail) umpteen times about…
