Marriage allowance (pay rise means will be over threshold by end of tax year)
Dear All, I've checked the MSE thread about this and it would seem I need not do anything until the end of the tax year as the extra amount I receive will be clawed back in the next tax year. However, to avoid this, should I have my tax code changed part way through this tax year when I near the £45k threshold? Thanks.

Daughter paying us rent - does it effect tax credits?
My Daughter will be moving up to higher education in September and her child tax credits will stop in August. She will be receiving about £7,000 student maintenance loan, from which we think she should be contributing £60 a week to us. (she will be living at home) Do we have to declare this £60 to anyone?
