Mileage expenses for Tax Credits

Reading the tax credit notes mileage expenses can be deducted from the total pay when claiming tax credits.

My P60 only has 3 figures for
Lower Earnings Limit (LEL),
Primary Threshold (PT)
and Earnings above PT up to and including the Upper Earnings Limit

and taxable pay and tax deducted and student loan deductions

It does not actually display gross pay (before anyone says this is taxable pay - it isn't I have a pensionable pay year to date figure shown on March wage slip which is higher than taxable pay!). I also have a gross pay figure in march which is higher again but a NI pay which is higher than gross!!!!

Would I need to add up all my mileage from wages slips and which figure would I deduct it from?
