Working out what we're entitled to
I know I'm being dim and impatient, but I can't figure out what we're entitled to, when and how to go about applying for the right things at the right time. I've looked at entitledto.co.uk etc. and am still none the wiser. I was hoping someone might be kind enough to take pity on a hormonal pregnant woman and give me the…

Check your benefit tribunal payments
Hi, I just wanted to suggest to anyone who is/has going/gone through a benefit tribunal to check that they have been paid the correct amount. A couple of months ago I received payment from my tribunal as they deemed me unfit for work. I didn't really know how much money I should have expected as I figured it was probably…

My son and his girlfriend do not currently live together. They are 180 miles apart, and are taking steps to move in together. Compensation and Benefits
Be grateful for some plain advice please. My hubby has asbestosis and we understand that the DLA would need to be paid back from any compensation. Am I right in thinking that the element of the DLA that is paid for asbestosis would then not be paid in the future? Would he still be entitled to his Industrial Injuries…

Hi All Can anyone tell me if they have managed to claim HB and then had this backdated, the CAB website states that the reason for not claiming must not be that you simply "did not know". I am wondering what a good and acceptable reason is. Any help would be great! Thanks.
