Its offical i was declared Bankrupt today!!!! It wasn't as bad as i thought, met the clerk who went over my forms, she was lovely, paid my money (OUCH)!!! Default balance showing on Experian....
Please can anyone explain if this is right it shows our mortgage balance of £183000 but a default amount of just over £74,000:eek:.Our house was vol. repossessed, we missed 3 payments of £1300 and paid interest only for the previous six months so i am unsure what this means . Thanks ,Ali.

How long should old accounts be on my credit files? Was it six years? On my accounts with Experian and Equifax(more with Equifax) I have a more than a few that were satisfied in 2004 and some Satisfied in 2005.
