Can you clarify something for me please. If you get inherittenance or a windfall etc do you still have to declare these after you have been discharged? if so for how long?

Both me & my husband went BR at the same time, can I ask for an IPA there has to be a surplus income of £99 per month or more, so if we are both BR & have a joint SOA (impossible to create a single one each) does that mean that our surplus would have to be £198 or more?
