To be more specific, 75% of the property is owned by housing association, and 25% is by BR person, however with a mortgage, so the BR person's equity is very small around £3k Any experience or knowledge would be much…

OR and tax
For one year I had a depressive episode and was too anxious to claim benefits. Towards the end of the year, I started doing a couple of hours here and there with a charity, where you have to arrange your own tax payments. I earned approx £600 in the whole of the tax year! I knew at the time I was earning less than my…

Urgent - car question
I am in court on Monday regarding my car. The last payment was due in January 2008, my bankruptcy was in April 2008. I owed £2,000 on the car and as I said the whole of that £2,000 was before my BR date and was included in my BR. When I had my interview I was told that it would be included and he had no interest in the…

Is there any way of saving?
So after digging around the threads it seems that virtually no-one will give an undischarged BR a savings account, which baffles me, but I can't be bothered ranting about it. Has anyone got any idea about a way of setting money aside (until post BR tax affairs are sorted out) that doesn't involve hiding cash under the bed…
