OR and tax

For one year I had a depressive episode and was too anxious to claim benefits. Towards the end of the year, I started doing a couple of hours here and there with a charity, where you have to arrange your own tax payments. I earned approx £600 in the whole of the tax year! I knew at the time I was earning less than my personal allowance, especially as I paid emergency tax rate and didnt claim it back.

What will the OR do in regards to this? Dont think i can handle wrangling with the inland revenue, aka bermuda triangle of lost documents.
