Debt Collector Stage - Need Advice 10th May 17 at 12:57 AM
Okay I think I may have screwed up my own chances here but just want to hear some advice before I pay the fine.

I got a parking fine from ParkingEye by parking in a Morrisons car park in Scotland. I was parked there on 31/12/16 about 10 pm till 1/1/17 11 am. Was reading newbies thread and panicked as stupid me chucked out the first warning letter saying I got a reduced fine of £50. I still have the second and final notice of £85 fine.

I haven't appealed and just ignored these letters up until this point now I had my second letter from Debt Recovery Plus asking for £145.

Since I don't have the first letter of the fine, is there much I can do? Or should I pay the fine asked by DRP?

    Much help appreciated

Normally PE respond in 7-10 days with cancellation confirmation.

For peace of mind in the interim, go to their website and 'try' to pay your PCN, using the required reference numbers, and the site will give you the status of your PCN. Obviously don't actually pay it - you will not get it back!
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.
