We don't want to dampen the Christmas spirit, but we are curious...

What's the worst Christmas present you've ever received?

Whether it's a dubious looking ornament from the charity shop or the wet wipes that one MSE'er received from his mum, we want to know.

A pack of candles (no idea why) and a "pre-loved" jumper that was too small, stained and covered in bobbles due to wear. Bypassed the charity shops, the jumper went straight in the recycling.

a dented bottle of bubble bath that was 2 years out of date. From my MIL.
  • A packet of tea- which had been opened! From my brother and sister- in - law
The same year they gave my OH a way too large shirt which had been re- folded badly and stuffed back into its packaging.
The hardest thing was stifling our giggles in front of them!
  • A bottle of chocolate flavour bubble bath. Was horrible stuff.
